2013 Krewe of Cork® Royal Stroll Street Stroll
The Wine, Food and Fun Gang otherwise known as the Krewe of Cork®, will be parading in their wine themed costumes among the crowds in the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience (NOWFE) during the Royal Street Stroll on Thursday, May 23rd, at the Hotel Mazarin Courtyard at 5.00 pm.
We shall be operating from the Hotel Mazarin Courtyard at the beginning of the event and then back again for a Great Buffet, Wine and Music by Johnny Angel and his Band.
Still members are encouraged to participate. The price for Still members is $50 per person. This includes food and wine after the parade, music, one dozen Krewe of Cork® beads and a Krewe of Cork® Goblet.
Mail your check for $50.00 per person payable to Krewe of Cork to 840 Tchoupitoulas St. #206, New Orleans, LA. 70130.
The times for our evening are:
5:00 pm – 5:45 pm - Check in at the Hotel Mazarin Courtyard, 730 Rue Bienville,
You will receive an armband and beads.
The wine police will only serve Members with armbands.
6:00 pm - 7:15 pm - Parade up Royal Street and back,
7:30 pm – 9:30pm - The parade will end at Hotel Mazarin, for more wine, and making more great memories. Where we will enjoy a buffet prepared by Executive Chef Agnes Bellet, Wine, Live Music and Dancing.
When you check in you will get your arm band and our logo Krewe beads.
Please bring your Wine Goblet with you. I will have a limited amount of Krewe of Cork® Wine goblets available for those who have lost their wine goblet.
Please remember that participation in the Stroll is part of the Sparkling Membership.
Year after year the Royal Street Stroll has been a fabulous experience and this year will almost certainly be the same.
Our Grand Marshal, King Patrick and Queen Gail, the Captain and his Lieutenants will lead the Krewe, as we take the Royal Street Stroll up and down Royal Street.
As always some of New Orleans finest musicians will accompany us, keeping everyone’s spirits up, while the wine police keep our glasses filled.
So get your costumes out and brush them off, our parading is not over yet! Costumes are required, preferably wine themed, Togas optional.
